    Those store bought powdered mass gainer shakes are nasty as fuck but u til you start making them yourself, you dont know what your missin bro. You can make em taste really delicious. Then they taste more like a snack than a meal replacement.

    I haven't drank a store-bought shake in over a decade. The GNC mention just brought back memories

    Oats, PB, MCT, and blueberries are my base shake now. Then I mix and match from there.

    Bananas, frozen berries and spinach and some decent protein powder mix well too.

    In the early 80's while in high school, I used to make these (minus the corn syrup), I gained (anyone would with the young, fast metabolism).
    He used to have a column in Strength & Health (now its a book - The Complete Keys to Progress).

    This is similar to my post workout when I'm on a bulk but mine is on a smaller scale.

    2 scoops whey
    1 pint whole milk
    2 big globs of peanut butter
    2 big scoops of vanilla ice cream
    1 cup of yogurt

    Don't ask me how many calories because I could care less. It's delicious and densely packed with protein and calories.
