    Pharma Test prices

Went in to the box chain to get my annual vial of Cyp. My health ins wonít cover it till 3years, so I pay out of pocket. Itís gone from $93, to $97, now itís a whopping $167/vial! They said there was a shortage & backorder for a few months . and it caused the price to go up. This is a old Med & should be cheap. Hopefully I will get covered in a few weeks. If not, Iíll be getting back to brewing for myself. After my wife heard the price, she wonít be bitching about a little Saturday morning brewing. I looked up the FDA info on it & they simply said the market is full & not to make anymore. This is crazy!

I may check them out. I’m diabetic, too, and they have cheaper prices on my meter strips. My doc is finding ways to really help with the prices. After 3 low lab reads, Blue Cross is supposed to cover me.

Good luck with insurance bro. Mine was a bitch to work with so I bit the bullet and went with a clinic - the price is higher but they're liberal with dosages and ancillaries.

My plan is to stay with them for a year or two, then take all my labwork to a regular doc and try to find one who will prescribe.

So it's been a few weeks, were you able to get the ***** hungry insurance company to pay for your meds?

My follow up is in Feb. I got a Med app that shows the lowest prices once you get a script. It’s fun to play around with. The prices really surprise me!
