    Go to pre workout

I'm in the process of starting a supplement company. Help me out by answering a few questions My focus is on protein, preworkout, and a recovery mix.

I have a killer mix made up for preworkout. Top notch quality. It has everything you need in their effective doses. Same with my recovery mix. This stuff works. I had samples made up to test the mix and after seeing trial and error I got something pretty special.

Theres still a few things I need to do before I pull the trigger and mass produce it. So I figured I might as well ask the M&S fam their input. (Don't want to give out business name and such info yet)

I'm curious as to what brands everyone uses for their supplements and why. What is something you look for in a supplement? Go to flavor? Effective doses, caffeine content, etc. Anything you feel is beneficial would be appreciated!

My big thing is clinical doses and trademarked ingredients. I know it sounds crazy but there is a difference in standardized extracts and trademarked ingredients. For example beta alanine is great but caronsyn stays in the body longer and hits harder not to mention it has studies to back it up. Another example. Caffiene anhydrus is cool. Everyone uses it but you use 1,3,7 trimethylxanthine now that is my shit sir. Its that hard hitter and you don't need 300 or 400mg. I stay around 200 to 250. My opinion of it matters.... Mild stim... Hard hard hitting nootropics and tons of pump. Citriline over arginine... Maybe squeeze some cialis in there bahaha

Well I suppose trimethylxanthine is "the same" as anhydrous... I don't feel like that is true but I read that somewhere. Anyway, like I said.... I'm not a stim junkie. More focus and more pump

Right on I wish I could put cialis in there believe me im a believer in that thanks to recon! I'm also more in for focus and pumps and just a 250mg caffeine just for that little extra energy and focus. Ive thought about using carnosyn as opposed to regular beta alanine.

I was able to incorporate a fee nootropics in and the focus is great. Almost like tunnel vision. Myself and few others, females included enjoyed the effects.

Also I just thought I should mention my scoop size is 23g. It seems like a lot but that's what it really takes to make an effective supplement.

Yes sir. Sales not manufacturing or distribution, but not gonna say that won't be in the future lol. Sales get so old. I would definitely recommend these days to stay away from proprietary Blends and do full disclosure labels. People want to see what they're getting not just a grand total of what's in it. At least me anyway. The reason I like trademarked ingredients is because you can actually read the clinical studies behind that specific ingredient. There's a new ingredient out that I've been looking into that I really want to see incorporated into some products.

Check that one out. Again this is why I like trademarked ingredients because you can see these kinds of studies. Too many people these days just want to be jittery and jacked up for me it takes away from my workout and high stems are contradictory to vasodilators being the fact that caffeine is a vasoconstrictor. Also the more caffeine causes the bladder to tremble which is why so many people have to pee so much when they take too much caffeine. Again man I love talking about this stuff and I'm not going to say I'm always right. For example the caffeine. After I wrote that I read it was the same thing but in my opinion trimethylxanthine has always hit me harder. Maybe it's psychological I don't know. But if you ever want to chat just shoot me a message and I will always respond when I can. Best of luck and I'm looking for some samples hahaha

I'm pretty basic and out perform 99% of the guys I workout with. Mine is just bcaa before, and about 4g of beta alanine. Flavorless is usually what I do, bcaa is usually a fruit punch or cherry limeade. I have used a lot of things being sponsored in the past, but I have noticed that when I eat right and keep my supplements basic, I get even better results.

That's so awesome you are in the supplement business! In regards to clean labeling and no proprietary blends I feel the same way.

Also thank you for the lead, I just spoke with dynamine and requested a sample. Im actually very interested in this and if it works like it should I'd love to add it into my recipe. I feel like the majority of the market is of the same mindset of you and me, minimal stim with nice focus and pumps. When you have a super stim you're only appealing to a very limited market.

I'll definitely keep in contact with you brother and make sure you get some samples once they're perfected!

Beta alanine is a beautiful thing. I feel like that mixed with creatine is a beautiful combo once you load it.

I agree with you, food is your number one supplement. Without a good diet you're pissing up stream. I've noticed the energy increase and overall gains once I finally got my diet fine tuned.

I have a list of a few ingredients my pre has to have. At least 5gs of L-citruline
    3.2gs of Beta-alanine
    1.5-2gs of Betaine
I feel these 3 have solid science behind them for my goals. Also taste is not important to me cuz I usually mix it with a little protein and slam it down. I used to be a supplement junkie purchasing the latest trends. But now I take a more minimalist approach and let diet dictate my needs. On top of the 3 supps Iíve already stated I only take creative mono and thatís it. Too many IG stars are jumping on the supplement bandwagon to make a quick buck and the industry is being diluted with the same run of the preworkouts. I say keep it simple with science based ingredients.
Also Iíve been reading up on dynamine and it sounds amazing. Itís like an improved upon teacrine. Teacrine sucks for a pwo cuz it takes 45 mins to hit and then peaks in 2-3 hours. Dynamines comeup is like 15 mins and peaks at 45 mins. The DVST8 by inspired just released the first dynamine pwo and Iím gonna order on preorder to try it out this week.
