    Red Cross Fail

Ok fellas/gals heres the deal. I went to give blood Friday and they turned me away. It seems my blood pressure is to high. My numbers were 157/93 and pulse rate at 95, HRT was 19.1. Well I wasn't surprised I have a B.P. cuff and have been watching my numbers steadily climb. I am 53 yrs old, 6ft. 220lbs at about 15 percent b.f. My cycle was 750 test, 500 deca, 400 mast. .5 adex every 3 days. I am going to drop everything but the test and it at 500 mg/week and going to see if I can drop the adex. I ordered some Cialis from one of our guys also ordered some celery seed extract and hawthorne berry caps. I am hoping this works as I plan on seeing my son graduate colledge lol. If any of you guys have any suggestions or ideas I would appreciate the input.

I just donated blood last month to help get my numbers down.
Now they are steadily rising again and I can't donate til the 23rd I believe.
Maybe you could check your numbers at various times through the day and see if there is a part if the day where your numbers are lower (for example first thing in the morning) and you could try to get down there first thing and donate?
Otherwise, I have not a clue.

Good luck, the Cialis will help some but since you were on DECA you may want to add a fluid pill like Lasix or HCTZ I know they work well with Cialis. But seek medical advice from a doctor to be sure. I just know what works for me.

The fluid retention is the one thing that has me unsure if I should drop my adex or bump it up slightly. Ive read people dropping there B.P. by increasing there A.I. I wish I could go to a doc but I have no Insuarance. I will have to figure this out myself. I will try my new protocol for a couple weeks and if there is no signifigant change I will drop my test to 250mg/week. Thanks for your help.

Hi Copperhead1965. I believe 1 of the sponsors carry BP meds. You can go to a health food/ supp store and see if they carry a product called Carditone. Keep us posted. Would like to know what other products you tried that made your BP go down.
    Take care.

Before you drop the adex do yourself a favor and get your e2 checked. That seems like a really low dose for that much gear. Your e2 could be playing a major role in all this if it's really out of whack ..

HI M.S. ive tried the carditone and at the time was not that impressed. But it may have been working better than I thought so will try it again. Will dig thru the sponsors and look for the b.p. meds I had no idea so thanks a lot for the heads up on that.. I will update this post as well.

My current cycle is 500mgs/week test and .5mg eod adex. You don't think that should be sufficient?

No, that should be good. I meant in your op when you said.. "My cycle was 750 test, 500 deca, 400 mast. .5 adex every 3 days.."

It might take a while for the deca to clear your system, but the extra adex should start helping your e2 right away, if that was part of the problem, although it may take a few weeks for the sides to subside

Cialis works wonders for my bp. I go to the doctor first thing in the morning and take a 20mg cialis about 2 hours before hand. I will skip coffee those mornings too.

What was you normal bp before the extra pounds?. Keep in mind blood pressure goes up and down all day long. Best measure in the morning before you actually get up out of bed. I'm guessing you have a monitor?. I hope you aren't using those machines at drug stores, they aren't really accurate, especially for people with larger arms.

Also, you realize that following and starting a thread about your blood pressure is gonna raise your blood pressure, right?. Constantly worrying about it and checking is also gonna raise it.

Before I gained yhe extra weight my b.p, was generally 130/75. I have pretty much had that b.p. reading my entire life. I use my own cuff at random times through out the day. It doesn't fit well but the numbers are very close to my red cross visits. My arms measure 18.5 inches so I wonder if my cuff not fitting may be causing my very extreme measurements.

Yeah I know youre right. When I went to donate blood I was literally dreading it. I just knew my b.p. was gonna be to high. What really sucked was my b.p, jumped 10 points on the way there.

    Yeah, try a bigger cuff.
