    we all know bodybuilding is all about the illusion. And you give the illusion of big no matter what the scale says. The scale fucks with our head sometimes brother. Wide back, Round delts, bis and tris with a tight waist always gives the illusion of big. Good lighting also helps! Lol. Just keep grindin bro! Looks like you’re heading in the right direction.

    This time, 3 years ago I was 148lbs
    6' 2" mind you { think about that }
    After a 6 + year lay-off from training altogether. Got hung up on drinking too much craft beer, working on other avenues of what I'd like to do with my life.
    **50 at the time. 53 now.

    Previously , I had been up to as Big as 241 reasonably lean 10+ % bf, perhaps 12 % tops.

    At 42 I won the Heavyweight at a National Qualifier, ( albeit , at the low end of the weight class of 202 lbs. )

    So some months or the ensuing months to follow is when I more or less loss interest in training & gear due to depression &
    Money /Family matters etc.
    It took me 6+ years to get back at it.

    Today I am happy to say I'm 202 again , headed to 225 is my end goal.

    As the other fella said , "Fuck" the scale.. the mirror is your friend.

    You look superb, I totally understand, I'm still on a quest to be a "BEAST" again even if just for a few months or so before I get too old.

    Be Happy with what ya have, and keep small short term goals in mind
    While whittling away at the Long term goals. I'm sure your young, and have alot more muscle maturity to be had and enjoy..

    Just don't lose sight, not let the scale discourage ya, only step on it every other week & assess where you are in the "Mirror" EOD or so.

    It'll make a huge difference.
    Tweak & refine as you go...!

    ~ you'll get there..

    Thanks brother, im 35 but feel alot older.boxing for so long and starting too early screwed me up bad.I'm disabled, not supposed to lift a full gallon of milk.says the doc, after trying to live off that measly check I had to do something so started smashing the gym and it has helped me so much.now I'm a foreman for an offshore company.guessing the muscles help hold my joint in the socket.used to dislocate almost daily.and yea I'm bout to throw my scales.lol
