    RNMuscles’s Training/Diet log

    Hey Everybody,
    Starting a log so I can stay accountable and maybe even inspire others.

    Currently in the midst of a cut.
    Training right now is 4 days a week Push/Pull/Legs with an extra day of chest.
    I run 2-4 miles Mon/Tues/Fri/Sat

    Diet is between 1900-2100 calories.

    Height 6’2”
    Current body weight is 225 with a goal of 215.

    Once I hit 215 I will start a 12 week bulk over the winter and start my first cycle, but until then let’s do this.


    Woke up at 0500 for work
    Breakfast:
    3 eggs, 1 egg white, 3 turkey bacon, English muffin, coffee black

    Check in with y’all at lunch.

    I’m hoping the hard work will inspire the gainz gods to lend me their favor!

    Lunch today is 8oz of turkey breast and 3 cups of collard greens.

    No lifting today so keeping carbs minimal.

    Simple dinner tonight,
    8oz chicken breast
    2 cups green beans
    1 sweet potato

    Will grab a protein shake before bed

    Yeah I go with the chicken for price and versatility. Friday’s I like to cook steak for my wife and son though!

    Another simple breakfast this morning!
    3 eggs 1 white
    Three slices of turkey bacon
    1/2 cup of oatmeal

    About to eat some lunch,
    8 oz smoked turkey breast
    3 cups of collard greens
    1/2 cup of rice

    Tomorrow is push day so going to carb up a bit today,
    Calories should land between 1950/2000
    Ill grab a 2mi run after work

    Breakfast for dinner anyone?

    6 whole eggs, 2 whites, 4 slices turkey bacon, chopped chives, and garlic.
    x2 carb smart tortillas to scoop them up.

    3mi run in the AM

    Push day will look like this

    Incline barbell bench 4x8
    Flat bench 4x8
    Incline Fly 3x12
    Dumbbell bench 4x10
    Incline dumbbell bench 4x10
    Seated dumbbell military press 4x10
    Overhead press 3x8
    2 triceps exercise 3x10

    Ready to crush it

    Breakfast

    4 eggs, 2 whites, three turkey bacon, 1 English muffin, 2/3 cup Greek yogurt, 1/4 cup granola.

    Ready to hit this push day hard!

    Adding 10-12m of post workout HIIT on either treadmill or elliptical

    Whats good RNMuscle? Glad to see you doing a log and looks like that diet is on point from here. Ive been tying to get my self to eat a lot cleaner as of lately and logs like this give me motivation and new ideas on meal plans ect. Keep it up brother

    Yessir!
    Ill grab a protein shake before I hit bed,
    Easier for me to eat three bigger meals than 5-6 smaller meals.
    Weigh out my food and everything to make sure Im hitting my 1900-2100 calorie target.

    Havent noticed much of a difference other than not being as hungry when eating larger meals.

    On days I work I sometimes push my first meal back to 12/1p.

    Main focus right now is making sure Im in a deficit and getting around 180g protein.

    Nice man! We all hit it different.

    I’ve been eating cleaner and it definitely makes me feel better. Although when I was focusing on macros I was eating fast food and still losing weight. I think in the long run focusing on eating non-processed food will be more beneficial to my health.
