    Keto vs Carb Cycling

Which has worked best for you?

For myself personally I have found that when attempting to really cut down for a show I must go completely into ketosis to see the real substantial fat loss I desire.

However, when it comes to staying fairly lean while being able to pack on some solid muscle/strength gains, I am far better off utilizing a carb cycling method where I tend to eat the majority of my daily carbs in the morning and before/after training sessions.

All carbs for me. I think where most people mess up with carbs is the type of carbs they eat. I can bulk with carbs I can get lean enough and still eat a good amount of carbs... it just works for me. Not saying everyone will have the same results, but I don’t do well on a low carb diet.

I love carbs and I wouldn't have the energy levels I do without them. I have a very active life and consuming carbs just before and after a workout just doesn't cut it for me. I think the biggest problem with people and carbs is that they try to eat more carbs than is necessary to provide the body of energy it needs for the days activities.

I can absolutely agree in terms of the types of carbs consumed having a very direct impact. Obviously the junk sugary carbs are just that, JUNK lol but even to go as far as putting two quality carb sources up next to each other, foe example rice vs yams.....based on an individuals digestive system for whatever reasons one source may be better digested and efficiently utilized than the other. (For me I've found rice is always a good choice while oatmeal for example does some damage on my digestive system and leaves me feeling groggy for a while)
