Yeah and of course I have to continue my PT exercises ONLY for my legs for the next 4 weeks.
But no lunges, squats, leg press, hack squats or anything like that until 4 months post op. To ensure everything is completely healed and muscles are built up and strong enough to ensure no chance of dislocation.

That not that bad all things considered. Long as you can manage the pain and don’t cause any setbacks you’ll be back at it in no time.
Might want to reconsider doing squats ever again and change the way you train lower body for that matter. I know it’s hard but the ability to stay healthy is so much more important. Again easier said than done but let’s face it we are older and shit breaks!!

You ain’t lying cuz.
I was never one to squat a lot , I prefer leg press. You gotta remember that I had both hips resurfaced in 2012/2013. So I’ve had to be conscious of my leg training ever since, and Now the right one is a total hip replacement. I’ll absolutely have to be very careful with any leg training. I’m gonna try to build some strength back with the PT and isolation exercises for now and try to focus on more mobility and functional fitness. Hoping that I’ll be able to add some new tissue just from training them regularly. It’ll be a long road.
