Yes indeed. Iíve had to convince my self several times already that itís for the best to be patient.

    Update:
    Doc says X-rays are perfect.
No driving until 4 weeks post op.
Return to work after 4 weeks as long as progress continues.
Train upper body being mindful of hip / torso position to never be less than 90 degrees.
Lower body training only strict isolation exercises, with light weight for at least 4 months.

Yeah and of course I have to continue my PT exercises ONLY for my legs for the next 4 weeks.
But no lunges, squats, leg press, hack squats or anything like that until 4 months post op. To ensure everything is completely healed and muscles are built up and strong enough to ensure no chance of dislocation.

That not that bad all things considered. Long as you can manage the pain and donít cause any setbacks youíll be back at it in no time.

Might want to reconsider doing squats ever again and change the way you train lower body for that matter. I know itís hard but the ability to stay healthy is so much more important. Again easier said than done but letís face it we are older and shit breaks!!

    You ainít lying cuz.
I was never one to squat a lot , I prefer leg press. You gotta remember that I had both hips resurfaced in 2012/2013. So Iíve had to be conscious of my leg training ever since, and Now the right one is a total hip replacement. Iíll absolutely have to be very careful with any leg training. Iím gonna try to build some strength back with the PT and isolation exercises for now and try to focus on more mobility and functional fitness. Hoping that Iíll be able to add some new tissue just from training them regularly. Itíll be a long road.
