    New Circuit I Just Started

    Now I have been pushing iron for all my life but now that im 53yrs old I cant do it like I used to all the time so periodically switch to bodyweight workouts and lighter, higher rep weights exercises

    So this is one ive just started....

    Bodyweight squats-- 40 reps
    Walking lunges--10 each leg
    Push-ups-- 40 reps
    Close Grip BP-- 30 reps
    Behind Back Bench Dips-30 reps
    Pull Ups-- 10 reps
    Dumbbell rows--10 each arm
    Crunches-- 50 reps
    Plank: 15 seconds

    Oh yeah, forgot to add that I run thru this circuit 3-4 times depending on how I feel that day after work and I sometimes exchange the exercises for different ones as I see fit or need to.

    Hey your still out there making progress even if you can't lift like you use to!! Age and injuries catch up to all of us at some point bro and we have to change our routine and mindset just a bit but doesn't mean you have to give up on building muscle. Keep doing what your doing!!

    Thanks my brother.I totally agree with ya.Hell,nothings stopping me now.I can still outlift and outlast my sons so im good.Lol

    Oh yeah, last night I did the same circuit but was feeling really good so I added upright rows, alternating dumb curls and shoulder presses.So tonight im skipping upper body and only doing legs and abs.

    Good morning my brother.Well it went horribly.I didnt get home till 9:45 so I wasnt able to work out.I was too beat.Lol.But thats ok.Tonight im gonna CRUSH IT!!!

    Killer work out tonight brothers!!! Only did 3 full circuits tonight but added Seated Dumb French Presses after the dips and Uprifght rows after dumb rows!!
    Skipped the planks.

    Sorry my friend.Just saw this.Been crazy busy at work.

    Thanks man.Things are definitely going good with this circuit.Pecs are popping and getting very vascular.Especially around front delts, pecs and arms.

    Sorry I havent been in here otfen as I would like.Been crazy busy at work and after my workouts, im yoo tired to come on the boards.Lol.
    Still going good though.

    Another good workout.except my left ham was hurting me right behind my knee so I skipped legs today.But upper body and abs I killed em!!!

    Careful bro, I've had a bad 2 years of injuries that have led to surgeries and trust me you don't want that.

    Thats for sure brother.Thats why I skipped legs for now.I get plenty of leg workout at work anyway.Lol.
    Gonna take it easy with legs for a bit to see if it heals.
